Warning! This method will temporarily remove all Google accounts from your Android device. We are not responsible for any damage done to your phone however if you need any help feel free to ask on our subreddit r/OpendreamVR.

Please note, this may not work on android versions over 14.

Before you begin

Download this Daydream APK and this modded VR Services APK.

How to install

1. Go to your phone Settings > Apps > All apps > Google Play services > three dots > Uninstall updates. Do this for Google Play Store as well. This will wipe all of your accounts from your device, but won't delete them. You can relogin after.

2. On the same Apps page, go to Daydream > Storage > Clear Data > Confirm

3. Open Daydream and perform setup like normal.

4. Enable Skip VR Entry scenes on Daydream Settings > Developer Options if your phone doesn't have NFC

5. Go to Play Store, click on your profile photo > Settings > About > Update Play Store

6. Click on the warning icon notification(s) that popped up when you uninstalled the updates and relogin to your Google account(s)

7. Enjoy Daydream!

Once its all set up, visit the app store for some cool apps!
